After spending the morning moving fish around so I'd have an open tank to put my holding ACEI, the time finally came to catch her. So that I wouldn't have to chase her around the tank, I removed all the plants and rockwork and grabbed the biggest net I could find. She was easy to catch and practically jumped into the net on her own. I have this portable tank like you see in Petco or Petsmart that hangs on the outside of the tanks and had that all prepared to put her in. Turned the net over to release her into it and out comes at least 30 babies!
Here's a pic of the babies after momma was put back into the tank with her other ACEI friends and before the babies were put into their grow out tank. Sorry it's not a closeup of them. The closeup pic was way too large to post here.
