? About Overflow Resivoir

I just lucked into a really advanced 100 gal tank with sump pump filtration and a trickle tower but the overflow resivoiur is the over the tank double box that uses a U tube to direct the water and the piece that holds it on the tank broke so my question is do I just get the same kind or is there something else I should use as my LFS said I should have the tank drilled and attach one that way so I thought I would come here for some advice thanks in advance

I was having a hard time figuring out what you where asking, but IF I have translated properly, I think that what has happened is that the bracket that keeps the pipes in place on the tank has broken, and the LFS says drill the tank, to install it all fancy and proper.

If the system works, to a certain extent, dont mess with it. Just get a new bracket and you should be fine. You probably couldn't drill the tank successfully anyway.
