A5 Aquactics (id Please!)

Well, I went to my LFS and saw they didnt have much variety, so my dad suprised me and took me down to a5 aquatics, I must say the people there are nice, I know this because they kept telling me NO! so i know they care about the fish. I came out with 3 fish, but forgot what they are called. So could you please ID these and tell me abit about them?


Oh - New journel up tommorow - My dads 3ft tank, (Cichlid Tank) bought oceon rock and everything today.

hehe, well for my bigger tank - which i dont really like (the scaping) my dad is not using any of the things he is getting with the tanks tommorow - as he just wants oceon rock etc. for a cichlid tank - so i am re-scaping my other tank - i will post it aswell.

do you know how to sex them?

Serpae Tetras

Look like black or red phantom tetras to me, but hard to tell from that pic.

hmm i was just thinking the same as they dont look red enuff to be 2 spot barbs

I'd agree with the serpae tetras, no idea how to sex them though.

They are Serpae Tetras im sure of it.

nar my money is on barbs..if im wrong then so be it, but if i keep staring at this poor fish hes gonna think im strange

(female 2 spots dont usually have spots on there dorsal fin)

I got my tank and setup for the A5 Aquatics, it's alright there... they are actualy nice people so I belive.

How great are the Koi in the out door pond , I so want my own fishing pond

They're difficult to sex. Females are theortically slightly rounder.

They look like Harlquin Rasboras but not 100% sure maybe look it up on google to see for urself
