A true Lake Malawi Tank ?????

If i added a few catfish to the tank im going to set up I want catfish but i dont want to wreck the theme.Can i have some
PLEASE HELP !!!!!!!!

There is one endemic Synodontis catfish...

Synodontis njassae!!!!

It is rather expensive, when they are available. There are other Malawi cats, but never have I seen them available in the hobby..

S. njassae is a peaceful cat reaching a size, some say, only 4-5". Other reporst have it reaching a size of up to 7.5"

It is recommended however that a tank of at least 40 gallons be a minimum for keeping this fish as it prefers companions of it's own kind.

Thnks they are a nice looking fish but you said they are expensive and hard to find so i might have to find some other caty even if it is't from Lake Malawi.

would i still have a lake Malawi tank if i got catfich that were'nt from that lake?
