As some of you might know, my emperor cardinals have bred!
Today has been a bit of a hetic day for me as i have had to catch the male to put him in a breeder.
I bought a mesh breeder and put it together then i started to try and catch the male.
After about and hour and half trying to get him, i got him in the net. I was so releved....THEN HE GOT OUT!. I was soooo mad and spent another hour trying to get him again.
I gave it a rest and had my tea and then thought i would try again.
After an hour of being so stressed of trying to get him i finally caught him and with some help from my dad i maneged to get him in a breeding net.
I was soooooo relived that i had finally caught him.
It dose not make it any easier being ill. I have a really bad cold, bad throat and feel sick but i still tried, tried and tried again and finally came through.

Just thought i would share todays experience in the life of a marine fishkeeper.
Enjoy!

Hehe, nice. Are you already starting to grow phyto and rotifers to feed them?

Im going to feed them newly hatched brine and as they get older, feed them bigger brine.

pretty cool, make sure you feed them live baby brine. And be prepared to ween them onto frozen foods when they are bigger.
