A Ten Gallon Startup Thread

Parker313 was a TFF member whose startup thread was what inspired me to migrate down from the 'northern' part of the TFF website. She had one of the earliest nano tanks here and it was this post that first lit the flame for me to try out nano marine keeping. Family issues had forced her to take leave of the forum. At one point, she was being considered to be a mod. I resurrected her link here so that it could be of help to others. I'll keep it here until she returns, or, until the links to her images are lost. Dang, you, LOL just last week I was saying how much I whanted to make a sw tank out of my empty 10gall wich is now cycling, but I got to looking at cost of rocks, filter, fish, light, ect, well a little out of my 14year old price range right now, LOL

look at the dates, this thread was started in 06, no wonder they have deleted their pics when they sold the tank years ago/

This thread is very out of date, and I think a lot more has been learned since this was started.
4 and 1/2 years is a long time in marines and opinions have changed. I might go so far as to say that this could actually mislead as to what is now exceptable in a 10g and what is not

so then, does anyone else have a guide/ posted diary sort of thing of other nano tanks and what was done to set them all up?

go to the journal/nano section and do a search, but i seriously suggest if its your first tank go bigger, youll only be able to keep one fish anyway in a 10 gallon
