I have found a small snail on my plant in the tank, what should i do with him?, if i have to take him out can i put him in my large bucket in the garden full of rain water and things and will he survive outside in the cold? :)

lol You wan't to keep it? Put it in a large-ish glass of tank water and occasionaly drop in some flake food and maybe a lettuce leaf. You know, most people loathe snails. I like them and would have left it in the tank. They are great scavengers. If you do, it's bound to reproduce like crazy and you'll end up with hundreds of snails. Removing them is simple but getting rid of them without killing them can be complicated. I'm pretty certain it would survive the cold but I can't say for certain - ask in the invertabrates forum. You could dump it in a pond but only if it's a local species or you put it in a man-made pond like in a garden or something. If you know someone with puffers or loaches, they can feed it to them :p

Thankyou sylvia i have asked the other forum.
I dont like killing anything, if it turns up then it gets a home. :D

Yeah, i had a major snail influx and then got clown loaches.......no more snails
