I have a 90 litre tank (20 odd gallons) with quite a few plants, dark substrate and a lovely bit of bogwood (mature filter).
So far I've got 2 bristlenoses, 7 cardinal tetras and 3 chain loaches. Just recently got rid of a load of platys and zebra danios and I'm looking for a new centrepiece fish or a school to hang out at the front of the tank. Any suggestions?

i would not get anything with a big flowy tail (like a betta or angel fish) as the tetras are likely to have a lil' nip at it, and you don't want that.
i guess its up to what you really want, gourami's are nice though.

(and 90L works out at just over 23 GAL)

only gouramis you can fit in that size tank is a dwarf or pygmy.

Have been looking at a pair of blue rams as thier beautiful but have heard they're quite tough to keep alive. Still up to this point I've only kept 'tough' fish so I guess it's about time I tried something a bit more demanding. Thanks for the advise.
