A Short Anemone Guide For Beginners

someone in my reef club has a tube anemone, very very nice looking, and under actinic it looks like a orange 25 watt light since it glows so much

They're a lot like sun corals, only not as picky about calcium/alkalinity. Feeding is troublesome if you ask me (I'm lazy) but gorgeous anemones.

Excellent article....very well written and extremely informative.

Please heed the warning concerning powerheads and anemones. I lost a beautiful specimen a few months ago and have since changed out my powerheads.

Hi, what did you change them to?

Seffie x

:fish:

Wildwoods have two tube Nems for sale at the moment - never seen them before, they were a bit too flor orange for me!

I will second that, having recently lost a BTA to my powerhead, it is not a pretty sight  , I was lucky to get it out before it crashed my tank.

Seffie, I think a closed loop system might be an idea, but don't ask me to explain how they work
