Build-A-Reef
I woke up this morning to find cute little nudibranches all over my zoas... Eating them of course. Really pretty things, bright bright green. Anyways, they were mainly covering one of my zoa rocks which is easily removed and so I took it out and sat it in Coral Revive, which is a coral cleanser dip. At first the nudis were running around like crazy and then they all just stopped, dead. I then went through and picked off with tweezers, somewhere in the area of 50 nudis. I have placed the coral in my 20G with the sixline and he already picking at the little buggers.
I caught glimpse of a couple large ones on nearly zoas, but I cannot remove those and so I just picked them off. Hoping my leopard wrasse eats any survivors... No idea where they came from as I haven't added anything in weeks and they literally ALL appeared overnight. I think I had eggs on the mainly infested coral and they have just hatched.
In conclusion, if you have corals, ALWAYS have a coral dip on you... I use this stuff before adding any corals to the tank and it has saved my tank many times... It does not kill most eggs (like nudis), but it does kill adult nudis, various worms and snails. It also kills good things like brittle stars and pods, but I think missing some pods is worth not having your coral eaten.
