A Question About Feeding

How often do you feed your fishies?

I have having problems at the minute as I have fry in the breeding tank - I put food in for the normal fish and growth food in for the baby fry. But half of the food falls through so the other eat it. Will this effect my fish?

I feed twice a day, small amounts - huge gap in-between (first feed weekdays 5.30am, second feed 8pm - at weekends the times vary).

If my female convict is spawning I feed her extra amounts.

Usually once a day, with young fish getting 2 meals and fry being fed microworms, so they have a steady source of food. In the hopes that my Limia vittata is pregnant, I've been giving her two meals and, since I already have the can in my hand, I've been giving the other top swimming fish an extra sprinkle in the morning.
