just a word of warning, they grow big and get aggressive. they will attack fish and stop eating algea when older. they are a bad choice for small tanks and should be returned to the fish shop. try some ottos for algea eaters. (research them first)
Hi..Yep I just found this out yesterday about them being aggressive. So have decided when he is a little bigger, will pass on to our lfs or a family member, as most of my relo's have tanks..bigger than mine. I also have 3 corries so probably just keep them...I also have plenty a snail...so algea wont be a problem in my tank if slippery is gone...I like him too, when he was small he used to swim with my gups. He liked one in particular though...and never attacked her at all..but used to shove the others away. Saddly my Zoe is gone now...But her fry live on!!!!! We've had slippery now for about 5 months and he has grown heaps...our lfs keeper said he would over time...but we didnt know he would become aggressive. We know now...so will keep an eye out on him...like my 3 year old daughter says...IM WATCHING YOU!!!!!
My Corries - Sorry pic is so dark its taken off a phone.
