A nice little suprise when I came home!

For the longest time I had an UGF in my 2.5gal. I finally found a powerfilter small enough to fit it (thanks to someone posting it on these forums) and it just came this weekend. Before, with the UGF, the water was always covered with bubbles from the diffuser thing, and there was always a somewhat strong current. But with the new filter the water surface is a lot more calm.

Anyways, I came home today and much to my suprise my little betta had blown a bubble nest! He's so proud of his work, too! When I get close to the tank he darts over to the nest and flares a little Hehe, just thought I'd share...

lol, he's prolly been making them all along..just the water surface was too turbulant for them to form and stay together, He's prolly thinking "Now look, I finally got this to look right...you LEAVE IT ALONE dernit!"

Silly fishies..Betta's have such cut elittle personalities/demeanors.

I know how you feel. When I moved one of my guys from a 6 gal with a kinda stong current, to a 2.5 with almost none, I got home from work the next day to find a HUGE nest! He was so proud. When I bent down to look in at him, he went over to it and just started wiggling all over as if saying Hey dad!! Look at what I did!! Ain't it cool??!!!Tell your boy congrats for me!
