A new (to me) tetra

I received this fish this week - a slightly larger than usual Hemigrammus - rubrostriatus. It tops out at just under 5cm, according to fishbase. I like this one.

I love Iguanadectes, but they are long skinny things. I had I geisleri for a couple of years, and they were very cool to watch.

These guys are more of a traditional tetra shape.
A lot of the newly arrived tetras are really expensive - wholesaling in the $30 to $40 range. That's tough with shoalers. I can't afford that. These were ones I hadn't seen before that were more in my price range. I guess they've been around, but they never caught on. A lot of these thjings look silver and boring until they get into a tank they like. The yellow tones only took about 24 hours to appear, but if it doesn't mean they have liver trouble, it's great.
