had such a laugh last night. have one of my betta tanks on a bookshelf next to my couch. hes a bigger betta and has real showy fins. anyway, i was sitting on the couch with my dog, a miniature pinscher, and the betta started darting around his tank and flaring. this caught the attention of my dog and she rushed to the tank and pressed her nose against it and just watched him. she stayed rigid like that for about a minute, then he darted right at her and she ran off the couch. sooooo funny. i have another betta up on a counter and she'll stand on her hind legs to look at him whenever he is active. she also will sit on my lap when i'm watching my community tank and paw at the glass trying to get at the fish. 
just cracks me up, had to share (and the crazier part, my CAT couldn't care less about the fish)
