I used Complete Remedy by Wardley, said it was safe for freshwater fish, so I added some because my new cories were acting ill. Today I noticed some fish eating what looked like a ghost shrimp, then I spotted a dead one in a plant. So I assume I killed the little guys :(

So, are there any good "cure all" meds (or symptom specific) safe for everyone? Like shrimp, snails (not sure if he's alive either), loaches, etc.

I also have Quick Cure and Fungus Clear (those fizzy tabs by Jungle) in my collection, are these all no nos?

Darn I guess I'll have to go to the fish store again... ;)

Quick cure contains formalin and malachite green not sure whats in fungus clear. Most medicastions that kill parasites will kill crustaceans and inverts as well, the best course is to get a treatment tank for infected fish.

What symptoms are you seeing? The safest and most complete treatment is water changes, if the fish are in polluted water killing parasites with medications will never work long term.
