More information needed, as Wansui mentions, would be good.
What do you actually have in the 10 gal tank?
If you're unsure, post some pics and we'll help identify what you have.
A tetra whisper pump - is this attached to a sponge filter or just a airstone?
Cycled - how was this tank cycled?
Did you follow this article for example -

pH in the good? what does this mean? A specific reading of pH is much more useful information.
Hardness in the middle? again a specific reading is more useful.
2 female bettas is not really recommended as aggression will be a key factor.
Quoted from the link below, which i recommend you read if you're planning on keeping bettas -
"If housed together, females must be kept in groups of four or more in an appropriately sized tank (ten gallons or larger) that has a lot of plants (silk or live) and a lot of hiding places. Keeping more than four female bettas together helps diffuse the aggression."

Sorry if this comes across as perhaps overbearing, but its good practice to give as much relevant information abut tank set ups and what parameters are and tank mates etc, this helps us to know what is going on and be able to give more accurate advice for you.
