Hi guys and girls,

Just a quick question... I want to move my Euphyllia corals to my lido 120 and I need to upgrade the light. Power compacts are really my best choice but how much would I need to light a 24 inch deep tank. I am hoping to sit the corals about 12-16 inches from the water surface.

Any ideas kindly received

Many thanks and kindest regards

Joe

I'm going to set up a 4 bulb -65 watt fixture for my tank (tank is 19" tall) and was told I could just about anything in it. Maybe something like that. Why can't you have anything else? T5's?

I'm going to focus on lps in my tank...I think :)

Clarification: I mean each bulb is 65 watts.

I can have what ever I want/ will fit, but PCs, which are t5 just curly, require the least space. If you look up the Jewel Lido 120 you will realise it is a strange deep cuboid affair. I need enough power to penetrate to the bottom but generally as the energy rating of the tube increases so does the length. Currently it has some 18W tubes in there which are pretty lame, they are just enough to keep the Chaetomorpha alive.

Regards

Joe
