This all hapenned this morning

I was watching TV in the living room and kept hearing a cat crying. I thought it was the movie I was watching but then the movie stopped and the crying kept going on. I openned the door and this cute little cat was freezing outside (it's really cold today, like -20C)

The cat looked at me for a few seconds. I showed him my hand and started petting him and eventually letting him inside. He's really friendly and ate a whole can of tuna in a matter of minutes.

Poor little kitten. Being that I am allergic to cats, I can't even consider keeping her here until we find a better home. The SPCA will gladly take her for now but put her to sleep in 3 weeks if nobody brings her home and I don't want that to happen.

One of our friends offered to keep her for a few days as he recently homed a cat so he has litter and food for the little friend.

I hope we can find the owner and return him soon. I'll put up signs in the neighborhood and hope someone claims it. Otherwise we'll just find a nice shelter or ask friends if anyone would like to keep it.

The cat is on its way to his temporary home right now... bye bye little buddy

Awww...poor little kitten... but it's good that you let him/her in even though you're allergic to cats... :D

Can your friend keep him/her or not?

he'll keep the cat for about a week while we post signs saying we found it

if nobody claims it then we'll ask friends or find a shelter that won't put it to sleep after 3 weeks...

our friend took a look at it and said the cat was so skinny it must have been away from home for 3-4 days maybe. and it was freezing cold here these past few days. and it ends up it's a male and not a female like we thought.

If it weren't that i'm allergic and that the cat kept climbing on our counters and table all the time, I'm sure i would've kept him but it can't be that way unfortunetaly... At leats it won't be too hard to find a good home for such a nice cat.
