A Little Confession To Make...

Some of you may know me on here, some of you may not but I was a fairly active member about a year ago up until I disappeared...

I got my new Fluval Roma 125 and then, well... you could say it all want t*ts up. Since starting my planted tank, I've stopped adding feed, I've only cleaned my tank once which has probably resulted in a spike of something - killing off most of my plants and fish.

Anyway, I'll be cleaning my tank tomorrow and hopefully getting myself back in to it all. I just need to force myself to clean my tank, feed the plants (and fish) ect.

if you need to force yourself to clean the tank and feed the fish maybe your not quite ready to carry on yet..... maybe think about selling before you kill all of your fish!

I do enjoy it though, it's just motivation. When I actually do it, it pays of and I love it - I think I just need to keep that in my mind, that I will enjoy it afterwards... I'm going to clean it today rather than tomorrow anyway, straight after I've done presenting my online radio show.

Ahahh, yeahh! I need to get back to doing just that, I've almost forgotten all the stuff I learnt - as in the names of fish and and plants

I'm sure It will all come back once I get started again

we all need a break from it at times.. i know i did..loss of interest and enthusiasm creeps in and before we know it.....

I think many people lose their motivation at some point - they get into a bit of a slump and it usually takes a bit of a change to get out of it. Have you any fish left? What are they? Perhaps something a bit different will spark your enthusiasm again?

Yeahh I have 1 Cardinal Tetra, 3 red eyed tetras (at least that's what I think they are - my mum bought them) and a decent sized bristlenose plec. Pretty hardy buggers to have lasted!

I've forgotten what the pH of my water is, I'll test the tap later and the tank tomorrow to decide what I can get once it's all sorted.

AT LEAST I WONT HAVE TO CYCLE!
