A little clairifacation needed

The bacteria grow faster in warmer water so it can take longer for a tank to cycle in cold water vs warm. 28C is the optimum temperature but you also need lots of aeration/ surface turbulence to keep the oxygen levels high.

Keep the pH around 7.0 if you can. If it drops too low, the process can stall.

I'm in trouble-smile.. The plants were not supposed to arrive until the 30th (I called them and they agreed to arrange this) but they came anyway.. My thermometer will be here the 29th along with my heater. Any way, one plant came in a bag of water and when I looked, it seemed like one leaf had eggs on the underside and there were two tiny fry in there. I have them in a 2'x2'x16" clear plastic container with a sponge filter and 4" air stone. I also have led lights but no heater. I put liquid fertilizer in there before I discovered the fry.
