it was really cool, i my tank was done cycling after 6 days, everything at the level it should be, almost no nitrate, no amonia. what i used to cycle the tank was three serpae tetras and two angel fish. i hope this helps anyone.

6 days seems fast for a cycle. Did you seed the tank with bacteria from someplace else?

These days with as easy as it is to do a fishless cycle I just don't see the sense in doing a fish cycle.

Agree with Sky, besides am not sure it will have done your angels that much good in the long run.

Unless you seeded the tank with a lot of already cycled material or equipment, or used Bio-Spira it's most likely impossible that you cycled in 6 days.

mmmm must say I tend to agree with all the above posts. Very unlikely to be cycled in 6 days unless you used some existing media

Fishless cycle is by far the way to go in my opinion. Though Danios are hardy good fish to do a fish cycle with, not everyone wants to be stuck with Danios afterwards and it's also not very fair to put them through all that, just to take them back to the shop

I also very much doubt you are cycled. More likely that the amonia hasn't become present enough yet. Unless you have lots and lots of plants.

Not good. Be prepared.

i have lots of plants. i mean it. well, and ya, i did use a little of the pre cycled material. sorry, forgot to mention it. i thought the fish did it, it went so fast.

Well that would be why it cycled in 6 days - not due the the "magic" fish
