WWOOWW  really great tank there mate, looks really good.
Every time i see a marine tank set up i get more and more and more excited to get mine up and running!
Loving the wrasse and cardinals most.
Corals are in really good nic too,.
keep up the good work :good:

I would hurry if you want a bangaii cardinal they will be on cites soon so wont be able to buy them.

i arnt looking to getting any. Whats happening with them then ?..... im curious now lol

looking good! like the wrasse :D

bangais arent exticnt in the wild i dont think, theyve been put on the icnu? endangered list but this hasnt affected collection. there fairly easily tank bred nowadays anyway if not the easiest tank bred marine fish.

someone correct me if im wrong!

...can I have some of your rock?

Awesome tank man. Great choice of animals. :good:

Banggai Cardinals are endangered, so two "steps" away from being extinct in the wild, which while a tragedy and crisis in itself, could be solved by returning some captive bred fish to the wild.

Very nice tank! I agree with the great combination of stocking options!

I also agree with Lynden about the captive bred option...in fact, they are pretty interesting fish to breed because they are mouth brooders like many FW cichlids:

Perhaps that might be a good way to help off-set some of the costs of running a salty tank if you could find a place to sell them (ironically, I do the same with a few species of FW cichlids) Perhaps I should take my own advice, huh?

Anyways, great tank! Does your clown have an anemone? If not, have you noticed it trying to host in a coral? I have heard of quite a few people having this 'problem', so I was curious to know if you do/did.

hmm, returning captive bred bangaiis to the wild, it doesnt really happen of fear of introducing new diseases that the fish in that area are not immune to, which can cause widespread deaths. Unless the cardinal was raised in its own water the whole time, and nothing else from some other reef in the world, then i dont think people should return them.

Anyway, just remember to buy tank raised/tank bred cardinals.

yeah, i guess if it gets really serious, and banning wild capture isnt working, then they may resort to that... But i dont think releasing into the wild is done yet with these fish.
