TF - I'm having a heck of a time with the second, but I'll get it eventually. In the meantime, my other thread's pics posted with no problems...

Yes, he's already been bred to a sibling. It was a very small clutch - I ended up with about 6 or 7, I think - we'll see how many make it to adulthood. The fry are almost 2 weeks old.


His mom was a prizewinning peach cellophane STF (yes, he has a pedigree... ) and his dad was a plakat with wild-type coloration. He was bred with a sibling sister (not the one shown above, a different sis with more appealing form and finnage). From the F1.1, I ended up with 3 females and one male. From the F1.2 (the other thread I posted today, same parents as these guys) I ended up with two, but that batch won't be spawned for an F2.

Sorry, TF, missed this question. I'm primarily interested in plakats. I started with an unrelated pair. This gave me my F1. Then I bred sibling to sibling. This has given me my F2. I will breed a few more batches of F2, and see if I have enough plakats to go for F3. If I do, then at F3 I'll reevaluate and maybe go for some unrelated pairings using the F3 and outsiders.
