A Few Marine Questions :)

Before some of you panick and worry.
No Im not going Marine. YET.

Most of you know. i now own a Rio 180. Witch in a few years i will transforming into a Marine tank ( if i choose to keep it )

I Want to know what are the minium requirements for Clown fish?

What corals do they like?

How much are the corals for Clown fish.

How much are clown fish over all ( i've seen some in a LFS for £30 )

Do they have personality ( the one at the lfs likes to follow my fingure )

What other tankmates can i have with them if i choose to go marine?

the 180 would be perfect for a pair

What corals do they like?

They can host in many things, toadstools, pussy corals, xenia to name but a few, they are not picky

How much are the corals for Clown fish.

Well starter corals suitable for t5 lighting: mushrooms, the above, euphyllias, zoas, payls to name but a few - start from a fiver to £50

How much are clown fish over all ( i've seen some in a LFS for £30 )

Expect to pay about that for a pair of common percs - mind you must admit haven't looked at prices for a while

Do they have personality ( the one at the lfs likes to follow my fingure )

Oh yes, they do, watching one grow into the female is fasinating, then watching them host, priceless

What other tankmates can i have with them if i choose to go marine?

In the 180 - you could have several other fish - woo hoo, maybe a firefish, a goby, flasher wrasse

Im sure i can nick a few corals off my uncles mate i'll have to get some pictures of he's 7ft ( So my uncle said ) Marine tank!

How many firefish could i keep?

and could i keep 3 ( ok. I Dont know the names. But they're Yellow. And have slim bodys simular to a small discus? ) Sorry if i've confused you there forgot what they're called.

And i saw a Black Clownfish once... Is that actully possible? Are clown fish hard to breed?

I Agree Too. I Love it! I Just wish one day i could become such an awsome Marine expert like you lot

And I Found out what there called Yellow Tangs.

How big do they grow?

And what about some kind of clean up crew like Some kind of shrimps?

About 8 inches.

I Dont think they sell corals in my area only corals with tanks

But i'll try get some free coral off my uncles mate
