I got a cheapo endoscopic camera on Amazon. I used it to take a look in parts of my aquarium that I normally don't get to see, among the plants and behind the driftwood and other decor.

Looks like I can expect some more snails.

And I found one of the spots where my pygmy cories hide during the day. Don't worry. I didn't disrupt them. I wouldn't have been able to get a picture of them if I had.

It's a fun way to look at your aquarium. I recommend it if you have a few bucks burning a hole in your pocket. This one only cost me about $20.

Cool, I just bookmarked the link. My tank is so heavily planted it is hard to see what is going on in most of the back half. This could be useful.

Aside from the terrible picture of a goldfish in a little bowl, that's really a pointless way to use the camera. Why would they try to sell it like that? Like you could. 't just look down into the bowl.
Jeez, the gravel in the pic on cam doesn't even match what's in the bowl.

I also have a webcam with night vision that I use to watch the tank at night. That's when the pygmy corys come out. It's a little tougher to get good pics from that but I'll try.

It's easier to see when you can see the movement. But you can see the pygmy corys sifting through the sand.
That glare is unfortunate. Can't seem to do anything about it. The room is actually completely dark so

I don't think the fish can see it.

Got my endoscope today and am pretty impressed with the image and video quality. Below are a snapshot of really nothing and a very short video of one of my cichlids checking out the camera.
