Right OK where do I start, Ohh for one I got mistaken today will be their 4th day 3/4's.
From what i've learnt in the past month, you are both quite correct.
The dominating factor is the temperature. With my first batches of fry I noticed that they didn't seem to move very much, so I turn up the heater a couple of degrees (Aswell as having eggs in the breeder net). Both the fry were more active, and the eggs hatched in about 3 days.
I had turned the heater back down to 23C before I had found these eggs last friday, curtessy of my misses texting me at work. I wasn't really expecting anymore
, but looking at the pics I think they will posibly hatch within the next 2 days.
Anyways................. I was playing with my camera and it broke tonight for a bit. Trouble was it broke in a good way because it did something it's not suposed to do, and I can't get it to break again.
Its has normal mode, macro mode, and super macro mode. The last one you can't zoom to take a pic well it did tonight and I got some very close shots these being the best.
A proper dat 4 day old egg.
and an armano(about 1" in length, juv)
My sole reason for this thread was to show just the growth of the eggs, and to show other people what to look out for.
If you look at the day 4 pic. The four eggs at the front, looking at the furthest left in focus, has turned fungul(even though it was fertile). I would have left it longer for the fuzz to start but it would mean risking the other eggs
