hey guys. just tried taking some pictures yesterday night and ended up with a couple ok ones.

first up is my favorite fish and oldest rainbow, my male M. lacustris.
this picture makes the hump look slightly bigger than it is, but he's getting quite deep bodied :hyper:

trying to get a good picture of the rainbow, the little bluefin killies are always trying to come out in the pictures. this guy is so small (about the size of a cardinal tetra) that he makes the rainbow look bigger than it is!

my second oldest rainbow, of my male M. boesemanis. he's not quite as deepbodied as the lacustris, but about the same age:

and two of the young'ns...first up M. lacustris female. i picked it out from the shop too young, hoping for a male. ended up with a female. oh well, she's pretty :hey:

hope you enjoyed the pictures

Nice photos, i have many rainbows in my system, my largest are my Trifiscatas. My blues (lactustris) dont have the pronounced hump yet bit some of them are deep bodied and approx 4" length. They are smaller than the boeasmani and trifiscata. I have x10 boesmani and 8 or 9 Lacustris. Also have praecox, splendida inornata (i think), westerns abd Tebera.
