A co2 question

I've been reading about co2 injection. I've read many people who use diy co2 get slow bubbling rates like 1 bubble per minute.

I think it would be more effective for me to connect an airline and blow into the tank for 5 minutes a day

but you blowing into the airline would only produce O2, and very little C02 I'd think....
