A Bit Of Confusion

ok this is wierd,since adding some endlers to my tank last week one of my cherry shrimp has been acting odd,even for her!

she is normaly quite content,occationaly facing off with my betta as usual (its an ongoing battle lol my betta is a wimp)

but now she has taken up schooling with the endlers and feeding from the top of the tank,ive noticed it a few times now
next time it happens i will try and video it!

has anybody seen them do this before?

I've never expirienced something exactly like that but I have seen something similar.

When I only had one otto she always hung out with my 3 black khuli loaches and did the loachy dance with them

And now that I only have one guppy left he has been doing similar things.

It may be that, since they are social creatures, your cherry shrinp is lonely and since endlers are similar in size, your shrimp may think that he's an endler!

i know zebra danio's do it if they are lonely,but cherry shrimp and zebra danio's are a little bit different lol

i have 3 shrimp in the tank so he has company and i can see him right now on top of a cave with another shrimp so she isnt exactly a social reject from the elite sociaty of shrimpyness

how odd lol

hmmm i might get a loach or 2,then when i am in the house by myself i will do a loachy dance across the floor hehe

its feeding time in a min so if he does it my camera will be ready

The shrimp only does it during feeding time?

It's likely that he's just after the food, not some company.
