90L Rena Aquarama Tank And Stand

Equipment: 90l Rena Aquarama tank with black hood and trim and silver-coloured wooden stand. Also includes a Fluval internal filter with media, heater, black gravel substrate and a piece of bogwood.

Age and condition: Approx. four years old. Some superficial scratches on glass, not visible when filled, and also small chip in rim of tank (only obvious when hood is removed, completely covered by trim otherwise). Some watermarks and hard algae to rear glass, nothing that can't be removed. Stand as new.

Quantity for sale: One

Reason for Sale: Giving up hobby due to house move and lack of space.

Delivery or Collection: COLLECTION ONLY. Please note that tank will not be available for collection until current livestock is rehomed.

Sales price: £50 ONO, this can include current livestock of 3 x pimelodus pictus cats and a number of assassin snails. PICTUS CATS NOW REHOMED.


Location: Much Wenlock, near Telford/Shrewsbury, TF13.

Sorry for the delay, the last of the livestock was picked up today so I took the opportunity to drain and clean the tank.

thanks for posting this and apologies for the delay in my response. its ideal, but unfortunately i think im going to have to pass. im moving to london in a couple of weeks, and much as i would want to take it with me, i know i would end up spending way too much stocking/caring for the inhabitants, so my aquarium dreams are all on hold.

having said pretty conclusively i couldnt justify getting this tank, its been in the back of my mind since then...so i have just a couple of questions...what are the tank dimensions (excluding stand)? any idea what the heater and filter models are (and are they 4 years old like the tank? if so are they still working well?)...does the tank just rest on the stand and is it removable? and finally just how flexible can you be on the price?

Hi,

It's 31" x 11" x 19" including the hood.

The filter is a Fluval U3 and at my best guess it's coming up to a year old now, it came with a subscription to PFK last year so if you can remember when they were doing that promotion, that's how old it is!

Without going up and checking I think the heater is an Interpet 100w and it is about two years old. Both the filter and heater were up and running until ten days ago and were in full working order then in a fully stocked tank.

Yes the tank just rests on the stand, it's the proper manufacturer's stand for that model of tank rather than a random one so it's a perfectly flush fit.

I'll take £40 for it if you can come and pick it up ASAP, between this and the two other tanks for sale I can hardly get into my living room, lol.
