80gallon Tank- Shark And...

my friend has purchased a 80Gallon tank, but he wants 1 shark in it a bala shark, but i dont know mch about these fish is this ok and what can go with it!
Any help appreciated cheers guys!

That's fine, they need 75g.

Only thing is they are shoaling fish and like groups of 3 or more.

They need more the 75gal, about 120gal for a shoal. They can grow upto 14" but are slow growing. Very peaceful, but skittish.

they just arent listening ive told them both they need to stick with smaller fish and they just blank me they were looking at stingrays and pirranahs!!! helllp noooooo

just dont like the thought of the blood parrot a shark and barbs a few pirannah and a stingray lol

well i think ive talked them round....
ive said how about a few livebeares and forget the bloomin shark lol
maybe a small pleco/

If they like oddballs and bigger fish, there are quite a few they could have.

Delhezi birchir, sengal bichir, headstanders, RTBS, Ruby shark, congo tetras.
