I was looking around ebay for tanks and I found this
7G divided
I was thinking of keeping 6 bettas in here.

But I was woundering wether being next to a another betta stress them out? I mkean, constenly being next to it? And being able to see it so well?
It different from mesh dividers, because it so much easier to see through.

I think they would be to stressed and it looks kind of small even though its a 7 gallon.

I think it would stress the fish out big time. It isn't a BAD idea, I would get some background paper though and stick it on to the partitions with silicone so no one has a betta cardiac arrest. And find a way to pop a lid on there. And water chanes would be difficult on that...but it COULD work. Might be easier to get six seperate bowls.

I have a 22 gallon divided 8 ways....I'm not sure how good that would work dividing a 7 gallon up 6 ways. :/

The way they have it set up..it will be hard to keep them all from seeing each other and being stressed. But basically that tank is like having them in beanie boxes pretty much. For $1..that's not bad though.

If you are creative..it would work alright...it is pushing it though...on the bio load aspect, you'd have to change the water daily.

 Didn't you just create a topic about tank sizes? -_-

Weird...would you cycle this? Maybe put a filter in one of those compartments? The water does flow through each somehow, right?

Anyway, that is not enough room at all. The most I would put in a 7 gallon is two...

I don't think I'd keep my bettas in there. You wouldn't be able to see the ones in the back and I think they'd be a little crowded living that close to each other in small sections. Might be good for a fry grow-out tank, but still being side by side that close with other males might not be the best idea.
