I’m getting a 75 gallon tank soon and one of my ideas is just filling it with tetras, i’d like to do cardinals, lemons, congos, and rummy noses, are these compatible together?
if not i’m more than open to suggestions!

I'd pick 2 or 3 tops and have much larger groups of them than several smaller groups.
Congos get large, so keep this in mind.

Does it matter if they're from the same continent to you or no? If yes, then congos are African while all the rest there are south american.

If not, congos with rummynose could be a really nice combo considering rummies do prefer lower end of the tank while congos will usually be in the upper part.

thank you for the advice! i’ll more than likely do cardinals congos and rummy nose then, i think that could be a really good community tank

What are the tank dimensions (length x width x height)?

What is the GH (general hardness), KH (carbonate hardness) and pH of your water supply?
This information can usually be obtained from your water supply company's website (Water Analysis Report) or by telephoning them. If they can't help you, take a glass full of tap water to the local pet shop and get them to test it for you. Write the results down (in numbers) when they do the tests. And ask them what the results are in (eg: ppm, dGH, or something else).

Most tetras come from soft water (GH below 50ppm) with a low pH (below 7.0).
