Hi guys,

im new to marine, but am looking to set up a 60l fowlr tank, and mabye moving on to a reef tank in the future

has anyone got any advice or tips for me in setting up my nano fowlr.

the fish i know would like to have are 2 cleaner wrasse, but other than that i am open to suggestions, what are your favourites?

finally, are dwarf lionfish generally peacful and freindly, or would they just be a pain

anyway thanks,

james

hi
dwarf lion fish need a bigger tank imo

and your probaly pushing it with 2 cleaner wrasse :good:

I'm not marine keeper, so feel free to take what I'm about to say with a pinch of salt.
But from what I've just been reading it seems that...

Dwarf Lionfish - Need a 3ft tank at least, which is more like to be 150l+

Cleaner Wrasse - Are a terrible idea for home aquariums, particularly small ones such as yours. They have a very high mortality rate. Everything I've been reading suggests finding an equivalent goby instead.

small gobies...small dartfish...if your new to this then you will only want to keep one fish.

I would have a pair of neon gobies and try breeding them.

yer that sounds good a hawkfish might squeeze on its own or a bangai cardinal to, or if u dont want to spend the money i like chromis looking forward to giving you some frags in the future so go reef friendly!
