ok so i have decided to get a small pecular clown and 2 tube worms, looks very nice in the tank, 30 gallon still cycling getting fish next weekend...

does clowns swim alot ? i dont have that much current in the water still it almost looks like hes battling to swim and always on the move, tested my nitrite is at 0.4 is that ok ? books says it still ok for marine fish as long as not more than that...

no, the nitrite is deadly, it needs to be at 0 to be good. Anything higher is bad. Clowns swim finny, it looks like they are fighting current but i doubt they really are. Theres a reason why they are called "clown"fish :).

What tank are the clownfish in?

theres only 1 he is currently in the 8 gallon one, with 2 tube worms.. very small clown about 3-4 cm in length. waiting for distilled water to go into the big tank he will later move in there, getting anotther mate for him this weekend..

Don't put 2 fish into a tank that small. If the bigger tank's not ready, wait until it's stable and fully cycled before you get more fish. Your book is wrong about the nitrite - you'll kill stuff with nitrite levels high enough to give a reading on a test kit.
