5ft X 2ft X 2ft Tank

I am looking for a tank this size and i was wondering how much would i expect to pay for one? i've seen a juwel 450 for around £550.00, i was wondering is there anyway that i can get one for alot cheaper than this? as i don't want to pay out too much.

buy a used tank, off some one if you have a local website that people sell stuff on, or ebay

hi mate, i paid £40 quid off a guy from ebay, its 5 ft long but not as wide or deep as 2ft, but £40..... With £30 worth of fish in it with a heater and filter.... not bad. Try ebay, i had a lot of fish tanks lined up, all 5 ft, but they are mostly collection only so be prepared to travel.

If you want a brand new tank with lighting, heating and filter etc, then £550's is a very reasonable price to pay for a juwel tank of such a size, if you go for a second hand tank though you will probably be able to find one a lot cheaper.

or if you dont want to go second hand buy one of the clearseal (etc) tanks and put in your own equipment.

Your lfs might have some "glass box" style tanks too, and with some work or diy they can come up great.
