55 Gallon Freshwater Community Tank?

I will be stocking my 55 gallon tank soon and want to make sure this stocking list would be fine.

6 black skirt tetras
12 rummy nose tetras
6 silver hatchet fish
4 peppered cory catfish
2 flame dwarf gourami
1 dwaft pleco

Not sure bout the hatchets I'll let a more experienced person deal with him.
Make sure you have sand for the corys.
You may want 8 blackskirts not 6 to reduce nipping more.

Hatchets are cool, but not with the Black Skirts. Skirts can be a bit nippy. If it were me, I'd sub in a different tetra. I would increase the cories to at least 6.

I've had black skirts before and I've never seen them nip so this is new to me
I've bought 60lbs of black moon sand would this be good for the cats?

It depends what you have with them. They may nip the gouramis I'd do 8-10 of them to make sure they don't nip the gouramis and I guess I wouldn't do hatchets.

Skirts don't always nip. It's just a real possibility with how the hatchets hang at the top. I would keep the hatchets and get a different tetra. If it was me, I'd do Cardinal Tetras or Neons, in a larger number. Black Skirts fade out as they get bigger. I'd go for something with color. As for the Hatchets, I'd get Marbled. Their color pattern is way better than the Silver or Martha's.
