Here is the progress as of now.

The Substrate has been replaced with most of the crushed coral removed leaving a 1/2" layer on the bottom then 110 pounds of live sand has been put on top. Also 50/50 bulbs have been added.

The attached picture shows the tank as of today. Next up is slowly adding live rock and replacing the standard light hoods with a class cover to help reduce my fast evaporation problem.

makes a nice diffrence lets hope the algae stays away from that nice new gravel :kewlpics:

Here is a close up of the gang that remains. 2 clownfish and one domino damsel have been relocated to ease the growing angels and tang. This also allowed me to add to neon goby's that the other fish absolutely adore and go to get cleaned all the time.

Here is a Scooter Blenny to tend to the sand. After some live rock is added I will begin adding scarlet hermit crabs to the cleanup crew that now consists of 3 mexican turbos and 1 Purple Urchin.

Oh yeah, My baby (False Lemonpeel) like to give kisses to whoever goes up to the glass. So she likes to jump in the way of the camera all the time when I do close ups.

I want a fish who loves me that much.
mine are afraid of me and are in the back the whole time.

Mexican Turbos are absolute MACHINES. I had one for awhile on its own that has a shell that is 1.5 inches in diameter. He did a great job on his own. I added 2 smaller mexicans later on. Those two completely cleaned the columns off. Just those 3 keep the glass spotless.

The fish? or the other things?
Just the 3 snails.

I was in the shop the other day, in the corals tank they have a snail that easily has a shell 2.5-3 inches in diameter. Its probably a mexican turbo but didn't get around to asking. It was a monster. I would be afraid it could push my rocks over or something.

my tang like that when you want a photo of him he hides but when you dont you cant get him out the way

Snail-Cong.

what type of fish is the yellow one who does the kissin?
The fish is called Herald's Angelfish (Centropyge heraldi)

Its referred to by most people as a "False Lemonpeel Angelfish". Its the same as a Lemonpeel but no blue markings. But as an adult a faint blue stripe can appear on its "dorsal" fin.

It is a very shy fish and it took this one a week before it was brave enough to even come out to eat. After about a month it was fully warmed up to the community. DON'T add this fish last.

My avatar has the same one pictured too with my Flame Angel. They get along very well. Although some will tell you its risky to have Dwarf Angels together. I need another tank so I can get a Coral Beauty Angel.

Since you got me started on my favorite genus of fish.

Here is the Coral Beauty
