Thought I’d share a picture of my aquarium. Recently removed a large piece of driftwood and am very happy with the results, it looks so much cleaner and calming and of course you can see more of the fish!

Stocking is…

1 Male Pearl Gourami
30-40 Cardinal Tetras
9 Juvenile Angelfish (will be rehomed when too big/Teratorial/Pairs are established.

50% weekly water changes, 2000 litre per hour filter external filter.

Beautiful! I love all of your plants. Is there a reason why you do 50% water changes? I guess everyone has their preference. I like to do about 10-30% weekly, some only do the 10% weekly. My tank is a lot smaller though at 76 litres

I mean it’s more like 30-50%. I notice my water becomes crystal clear and the fish seem to love it. I have a very overstocked tank so it helps keep the levels low, although the plants could probably do that alone. It also make it easier to rearrange and replant the carpeting plants without getting my shoulders wet

Probably unnecessary but it works for me
