Ive got a welded steel centre brace on my vision 260 - as the plank i bought it from had removed the centre brace to fit the gubbins he required to run it as a marine tank - lucky sod it didnt break, it was bowing noticably when only 1/2 full.

Mine isnt an all singing all dancing adjustable one though, thats dead posh is that! Only other thing i can add is make sure there is sufficient length in the two ends of the brace that 'work' as some tanks, specially juwel, have a LOT of plastic trim up top and you do want it to support further down than just the trim.

I just got mine from my shop guy. Looks/works great. Just filled up the tank, and the tank doesn't bow at all.
