5 gallon tank

after seeing my tank my friend wants to get a tank, but hes only getting a 5gallon(us) he is going to ask me what fish to get, what should i tell him? he really has no prefrernce.

A betta...or maybe some some small bottom feeders. He could also put some guppy or white cloud minnows in there

He could probably do both a betta and 3 dwarf corys.

I have a male Betta and corys in my smallest tank they make good tank mates and an active tank.

A betta and 3 Panda cories. Panda cories are more active than any other cory. They move like a minature 2-striped clown loach. But be careful, the betta is usually inclined to become one of them.
