5 fish tank for a reasonable price...

sup people i just like to share my idea's on how to buy some fish tank for a reasonable price... k this morning me and my buddys went GARAGE SALe it means when people sell there stuff for cheaper price.... k i just bump to this old guy and i saw 5 fish tank and he selling me for $100 CAD.im like anyways yeah i buy them all, its like a jackpot to me and now imma go clean it and make a setup

heres my list
2= 10g
2= 55g
1= 200g with stands (red mahogany )
and that include 3 fluval filter 5 hagens heater some artificial plants,driftwood some water filter,rocks and peebles..........
if i were u guys i would check out ur neigbhoor find som stuff....payce....

I've looked through a lot of garage sales without any luck, unfortunately. Closest I've come to seeing anything worthwhile was a 20 gallon reptile tank. Maybe someday.

I found out the other day someone I know used to know someone whose job was putting aquariums together... and he could get you any aquarium size you wanted for the cost of the parts. Wish I knew that guy.

Maybe if you guys are really hard up for big tanks that's a summer job you should look into.

Almost all of my tanks are used and I've gotten some real bargains, but that's the best one I've ever heard of.

The best thing I've ever seen was a 60 gallon for $20 dollars. But I couldn't get it because my floor wont support a tank that big.

I can't believe he was selling a 200 gallon! Did he tell you why he was getting rid of them all?

omg i can't belive your luck! i've digged everywhere for fishtanks and the best today i found was a 25G for $35CDN..*sniff* wish i could have found that deal! i've checked out garage sales too but nobody seems to want to sell fishtanks all i ever see are toys and books, etc.

Wow, I wanna go garage sale-ing in your neighborhood! Most of my tanks are used, too (only way I can afford to do what I do). Snagged a 55 gal. last year for $20. US! My son bought me a 10 gal this year for $5, the only thing I've come across so far myself this year has been two 10 gals on a single stand for $50., I says "I don't think so!", passed it by....that's part of the fun, though, you never know what you're gonna find, sometimes crap, sometimes gold! This might be a cool thread to keep going, everybody reporting in weekly with their "finds".
