4Th Guppy Just Dropped...

Well my fourth guppy just dropped 20 fry so far,she started getting a bit stressy in the trap so i let her back in the tank,will keep an eye open for more in the tank

Thats all the guppy drops so far,well at least for 2 weeks

Luckily i caught her just has she was dropping her first 2- good timing again

Umm just counting i think i have around 170 platy fry,ranging from 1 wk to 8 wks,48 guppy fry from 1 day to 2wks and 9 cory fry 3wks to 7wks

Fry tanks get a bottoms cleaned and 50% w/c daily

At over 200 fry, I hope you have a big fry tank Harlequins. Water changes can only make up for so much crowding and then you will have trouble maintaining water quality. Have you figured out where all of those fish are going to end up?

I haven't thought that far ahead,although i just sold 16 of them,i've another 20 ready to go,

There's about 150 platy in a 20 gal at the moment,the older ones are in my main tank.

There's 28 guppy fry in a 10 gal with the cory fry at the moment,with the new fry still in the breeding trap in the main tank

I have 3 lfs lined up to take them from me if i can't sell locally.
