The tank is made of 10mm glass with strengthening bars around the top and bottom. I've never seen a more solid tank!

The stand is equally as sturdy and is made from solid wood (not sure what kind) not chip board or cheap ply.

The hood could possibly do with a bit of work and has some holes cut out of the back for pipes and cables. Both hood and stand could probably do with a new coat of varnish or paint though.

Extras:
I have an old Fluval 403 external filter, which still works perfectly well although the clips for the canister broke so I built a metal cage to hold it all together. I also have a couple of buckets full of slate chippings and some ornaments. These can go free with the tank or separately if someone wants to make me an offer.

Can you verify that the dimensions of the tank is 48" x 24" x 18"? How tall is the stand, how many cupboards does it have? What working needs to be done on the hood? Is the hood ftted with lighting?

It's 48" long, 18" front to back and 24" high. The stand is 24" tall but 6" of that is leg. It's one big cupboard with the same footprint as the tank with two doors. The hood has a few holes in the back for various pipes etc and has a seperate lid from the frame. It could possibly do with a paint or something depending on your needs. It doesn't come with any lighting but some could easily be fitted.

Both the stand and the hood are solid wood.

I haven't got access to a camera right now. It's on four legs that are about 3" square. Like I said it's very solid.
