3rd Day - Cloudy Water

Set up the new tank on sunday - since then the water has been crystal clear.

Still no fish at the moment as its only been up for 4 days, however yesterday i returned home to find the water had gone cloudy, any reasons why??

Bacteria bloom? Is it milky white like a glass of water pored in to a glass used to drink milk out of? If so it takes about 7 days to 10 days to clear.

I've heard there are treatment you can add to the water to clear it up fast, but i've never used it.. and its happened to me before.. maybe you should just let it sit for a while and see what happens..

If it is bacteria bloom, I wouldn't worry about it.

Are you cycling your tank with ammonia? Do you have anything in the tank at all? If you just have water in there, the tank is probably not going to cycle.
