Tried creating a hide for shrimp on 3d printer. Had to spray it with plastic dip to protect it, make it waterproof & add uv resistance when putting in tank.

Not sure why java moss moved when put in tank. But oh well no big problem as the java moss grows I will take it out and neaten it up 🙂

it took 4hrs to print and spent 5 the next day spraying and letting it dry in 77f/25c heat

Ah thats interesting :) I've been wanting to see this come into the hobby a bit more. I've not seen it done well yet, as in people creating bad environments for fish but I do think there is potential to make something sculptural for aquarium use without it being form over function.

that looks pretty good. it will make a nice cichlid or gudgeon home when the java moss covers it more.
