I have a Empty 38g sitting here staring at me. I am thinking of putting 2 Goldfish in it. What do you think?

I was originaly planing to put

One Lionhead
One Telescope Moor

Or

One Peral Scale
one Telescoping Moor

I have a 20g with just one Comet Goldfish in it. My sister loves it so much she will not let me take it to the store. So I have to keep it and put it in the 38g. I was thinking is 3 Goldfish to much for a 38g? One of the options above+ a Comet Feeder Goldfish?

If you take out the comet, depending on the exact measurements of the tank it could fit any type of fancy variety of goldfish if you were just getting a pair, although it would be best to get two of the same type of fancy variety of goldfish or two very similar varieties (like pearlscale and eggfish, celestial eye and bubble eye goldfish etc) :thumbs.

If you kept the comet though it would outgrow even the 38gallon tank eventually, and if you got it sme fancy goldfish tankmates it may pick on them (because fancy goldfish are not as fast swimming and agile as non-fancy goldfish, non-fancy goldfish often take advantage of this and pick on the fancy goldies). Because comets can grow up to 15inches+ long and are very active fish, the minimum size tank i would personally advise is a 5x2x2ft tank.
