Fish Fanatic
Hi all,
So I've took the plunge with a second tank, it wasn't intentional but I picked up this Fluval Roma 125 for the bargain price of £75 with stand, it about the biggest tank my house will allow! Haha.
Money is permitting currently, so the project is a long term venture, watch for updates and ideas and opinions are more than welcome.
The initial plan is to recreate a Taiwanese River bed, substrate will be a mixture of sands layered with water smoothness rock/dragon stone and an ample amount of bogwood, leaf litter may also feature(undecided).
Planting will be subdued with something that floats and low light t8 tubes... Will feature giant vallis and other plants from the region,
Stocking will included:
5x Dwarf Chain Loaches
6x Taiwenese Bitterling OR Celebres Rainbow
Filtration:
The filter it came with was an internal super fish 200 and unsuitable. As such will be upgraded to an eheim classic 2213 or a fluval 306 depending on what I can pick up 2nd hand.
Rest is undecided!
