No it doesn't have a temp gauge (i dont think many 25 watt heaters this small would have them) but it has full control over temperature with an adjustable control. The heater is literally 6 inches so the lack of a visible temp gauge i would imagine is becasue the heater is generally to small.

Temp wise ive ran it on a 50 ltr tank and it has worked perfect however the actual rating is 25 ltr but in a 35 ltr it would work just as well.
